He recently retired after serving twelve years as a director of the Bank. He was Chairman of Sterling Capital Limited; a former subsidiary of the Bank. He was a member of the Governing Council of the Bank Directors Association of Nigeria and served as the General Secretary of the Governing Council before his retirement.
He has over twenty-two years of business experience in the private sector where he represents his family interests on boards of various private companies and property development.
At the national level, he is a member of the Ministerial Committee developing a new industrial master-plan for Nigeria. He is the MD of Aircom Nigeria Limited, and also the Chairman of NASCOM (the National Academicals Sports Committee) under the ministry of Sports.
He is happily married with children.
