PRESENTATION OF PATROL MOTORCYCLES TO THE NIGERIA POLICE, LAGOS COMMAND


On the 30th of August 2023, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) presented a total of Forty-Five (45) Solink Motorcycles to the Nigerian Police, Lagos Command at the Command’s headquarters in Ikeja.


The fully equipped patrol motorcycles are part of the Fund’s efforts to enhance the operational capacity of the Police. These motorcycles come with Sirens, Front Flash Lights, Rear Amber Lights, and Wind
Shields, to further ensure the safety of officers on duty while enabling swift and effective response to incidents.


The Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, expressed his gratitude as he received the patrol motorcycles on behalf of his Command. He commended the Lagos State Security Trust Fund and its
donors for their exceptional commitment and prompt response to the needs of the Police Command.


CP Owohunwa highlighted that the patrol motorcycles would play a crucial role in enhancing law enforcement efforts. He emphasized that these vehicles would be dedicated to ensuring safety and
security in and around the state of Lagos.


Mr. ‘Degbola Lewis, the Administrative Director of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, expressed sincere gratitude to CP Owohunwa for his exemplary leadership and dedication to maintaining law and
order. He reiterated the Fund’s commitment to providing continuous support to the Nigerian Police Force, acknowledging their vital role in safeguarding the community.


As we move forward, we are confident that these patrol motorcycles will contribute significantly to the effectiveness of police operations, ultimately leading to a safer and more secure Lagos.
