A courtesy visit to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund by a team from the Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation (COF).

The team was led by the Executive Director of the Foundation Ms. Funke Shonekan on a familiarization visit of the Fund to learn more about its activities in order to enable the Foundation to consider options of collaborating with the Fund to achieve a conflict-free and secure society.

Ms. Shonekan who is also the Founder of Young Adult Professionals & Entrepreneurs (YAP&E) and a Co-Chair of the Next Gen Philanthropy said that the Chris Ogunbanjo Foundation (COF) which had been in existence for about 20 years, had established 2 centers under it namely;

  • The Centre for the Promotion of Industrial Society and Private Enterprise: Created to collaborate with relevant governmental agencies and bodies, to ameliorate the promotion of industrial society and private enterprise.

 

  • The Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution: Created as a forum for the resolution of conflict and to support mediators and other conflict resolvers who attempt to settle ethnic, tribal, inter-racial, industrial, political, religious and other international disputes.
