Lagos State Security Trust Fund Set to Hold its 13TH Annual Town Hall Meeting

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund’s cycle of activities and engagements would be incomplete without the Fund rendering account of its stewardship to its stakeholders while also deliberating on solutions to general security challenges in Lagos State.

The forthcoming Town Hall Meeting on Security with the Governor is set to hold as follow:

Date: Tuesday, 3rd of December, 2019

Venue: The Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Time: 11am prompt.    

The meeting which is the 13th in its series and the first for the Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s led administration would also serve as a platform for the Governor to interact with relevant stakeholders in the security sector of our dear State to collectively proffer inclusive solutions for the enhancement of the security architecture of Lagos for the prosperity and progress of all Lagosians.

Stakeholders across sectors, including Captains of industries, representatives of Local Government and LCDAs, security officials, traditional rulers, amongst others have been invited to the 13th annual town hall meeting on Security with His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

It promises to be an I     nsightful event which will appraise the activities of the Fund especially as Mr. Governor was a pioneer Member of the Board of Trustee of the LSSTF.

The theme of the event is “Transformational Security” and the forum will be looking for ways to do things differently to meet the security challenges of the future and highlighting new trends in security such as technology assisted Policing, modern policing techniques and efficient personnel.

The feedback from the event which is structured to be interactive may form part of the strategies to be adopted by security agencies for 2020.
